At Trust Flexitanks we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations.
Although flexitanks have a very low ratio of “packaging per ton of product transported”, we continue to work in its reduction along with the producers of the film used, by trying to achieve a greater resistance but with a reduced thickness.
Our single-layer Flexitank is produced with a single material which greatly facilitates its recycling. PE is a thermoplastic that can be melted and reused infinitely to make new products.
In Collaboration with the COA we seek to introduce recycling criteria in the Code of practice.
In the production of bulkheads, we seek more technical solutions not only to reduce the amount of steel per set, but also to make possible their recovery and reuse.
